The circulator is stuck, how do I unstick it ?
The circulator blockage is due to impurities present in the heating circuit water (sludge, metallic particles, limescale, etc.) and prolonged power outage of the boiler.
- To prevent blockage, it is imperative to leave the boiler powered on in standby mode during extended periods of absence to allow it to perform the daily degreasing cycles controlled by the regulator.
To unblock the circulator:
- Check that the circulator is powered and that it confirms a blockage (red + yellow lights illuminated).
- To unblock the circulator, use a PH2 type crosshead screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver into the central hole of the front plate and push the screw (approximately 5mm stroke) to engage it in the degreasing position.
- While holding the screw pushed, turn alternately left and right.
- When the circulator is unblocked, the red light turns green.
