HomeKit not working anymore. Is it normal ?

To remotely control your setup, you need to set up your HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad as a hub.

• To set up automations, change user permissions, you need a HomePod², an Apple TV 4K, or a 4th generation Apple TV with the latest version of tvOS², or an iPad with the latest version of iOS.
• To control your HomeKit accessories remotely, you need a HomePod², an Apple TV 4K, a 4th generation Apple TV, a 3rd generation Apple TV^1,2, or an iPad.
• The device you set up as a hub must remain at home, connected to your home Wi-Fi network, and powered on.

 

These conditions are imposed by the HomeKit protocol.
