If you're leaving for a few days, what should you do with your setup?
For absences longer than 2 days, we recommend the following:
- For products equipped with interfaces, use the VACATION mode of your device, accessible through the "menu" button.
- For other products, put your device in STANDBY mode (via the power/standby button) while keeping it powered on to ensure frost protection and circulator protection cycles.
Always prefer these 2 modes (VACATION mode or STANDBY mode) rather than unplugging your device. They provide overall protection for the installation that would not be guaranteed if you disconnected the power supply.
